Jul 10, 2020 · A CSV (Comma Separated Values) is a simple file format, used to store data in a tabular format. CSV file stores tabular data (numbers and text) in plain text. Each line of the file is a data record. Each record consists of one or more fields, separated by commas.
We can see that the dictionaries in the list have the column names of the CSV as keys, and data for each specific car are the values. The length of our list is 234, meaning we have a dictionary for each of the 234 cars in the CSV file. We can look at what the column names of the CSV are by using the key method.

This is messy indeed! The columns are the string form of integers indexed at 0. The row which should have been our header (i.e. the one to be used to set the column names) is at olympics_df.iloc. This happened because our CSV file starts with 0, 1, 2, …, 15.
Aug 06, 2009 · The easiest way to convert a TXT file to a CSV is by saving the TXT file with a .csv file extension. This TXT file, named abc.txt, has commas that determine where column breaks will be if imported into a spreadsheet. After saving the file as abc.csv, the text is put into columns in the spreadsheet.

The difference between these two ways is the type of rows in the first way is a list of several elements and the type of rows in the second way is a string.
